Hello- I am a senior citizen just learning how to play the piano. I am using a small electric piano as I don;t have any space for anything else I have just completed John Thompson’s Modern Course for the piano, the second grade book. I am a beginner and am learning on my own. I am a former Navy musician and graduated from the Naval School of Music in 1962 but as a bass player the piano is a new instrument to me. My question is where do I go from here- is there a grade 3 book that I should look for or what might you recommend.
Chord structure and inversions I am finding quite difficult as it has been a very long time since I have even played the bass. WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE ?
